Dear Parents and Swimmers,
As we approach the end of another wonderful year, we want to thank you for being part of our
swimming family. Your support and commitment have made 2025 a year to remember!
Please note that we will close after lessons on Saturday, 6 December 2025, and reopen on
Monday, 5 January 2026. Kindly keep your current days and times unless you have arranged
otherwise. During the holidays, we will update the street gate access code and share the new code
via email on 5 January 2026.
Please take note that when we have lightning and/or thunder, we must stop the lessons for
everyone’s safety. Our drill is set out in the Contract, so we won’t repeat it again here. We do not
cancel a whole session, because sometimes a storm passes over quickly, and we are able to resume
after only missing a couple of lessons or so. Other times it can be several hours before we can
get back in the water again. We have no way of knowing what the progress will be, but when we
resume, we will include those swimmers who have been kept waiting, up until normal closing time
for the day. You’re welcome to contact us should you require further clarity.
A heartfelt thank you to Cindy, Charl, Jeaneth, Johannah, Justine, Khanyi, Khyle, Lindi,
Noreen Snr, Petro, Piet, Phumla, Sarne, and Tshepang for their dedication throughout the
year.
