29 September 2022

Dear Parents and Swimmers,

May this blessing of change bring you an abundance of joy, love, peace and good health for the month of October ahead and ALWAYS!

We would like to take this opportunity to wish Sarie well with her new journey. Sarie has left us at the end of September 2022 and will be replaced by Sarne whom has been in the water with her for the past 2 months.

Could we kindly request that when payments are made, to make use of your reference number, Swimmer’s name and Surname. We had a couple of payments that reflect “Irena Swim School”. When this happens, we do not know who’s payment it is.

Kindly note that caps are compulsory and cannot be borrowed. Should your child(ren) forget their caps, a new one would have to be purchased.

We will be closed from Monday the 3rd of October 2022 until and including Saturday, the 8th of October 2022, for our maintenance and repair week.

Please take note that when we have lightning and/or thunder, we must stop the lessons for everyone’s safety. Our drill is set out in the Contract, so we won’t repeat it again here. We do not cancel a whole session, because sometimes a storm passes over quickly, and we are able to resume after only missing a couple of lessons or so. Other times it can be several hours before we can get back in the water again. We have no way of knowing what the progress will be, but when we resume we will include those swimmers who have been kept waiting, up until normal closing time for the day. You’re welcome to contact us should you require further clarity.

Thank you for your continued support and we trust that you will soak up the sun at the pool and have all kinds of fun this spring!

Best Wishes, Irene and Noreen
